Materials and Design
Our poly lumber is produced with pre- and post-consumer recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE). It’s resistant to corrosive substances, oils and fuels, insects, fungi, salt spray, and other environmental stressors. The poly lumber doesn’t absorb moisture and won’t rot, splinter, or crack. No sealing or painting is required to maintain the original color or finish, and it cleans easily with soap and water. We use only marine-grade stainless-steel hardware, so it will not rust.
Our products are made in the USA by some of the finest craftsmen in the Midwest and are built to last! Each piece of Tru180° furniture is handmade in workshops where skills are passed down from generation to generation, not in factories. At Tru180° we believe “quality” is a verb — it is something we DO! If you are not completely satisfied with our product, we will make it right. The mission of our business is to provide a quality product at a reasonable price that you will be proud to own.
Many hand-crafted jigs (above) are used in the assembly of Tru180° furniture. Each piece of poly lumber is snugly fit into the jig and fastened with precision to make sure every piece of furniture is built the same as the last.
Tru180° warrants the original purchaser that its high-density polyethylene (HDPE) furniture products will be free of original defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twenty years of residential use, or two years of commercial use. At its discretion, Tru180° will repair or replace products without charge for materials and labor. The spirit of the warranty is to protect against defects within our control. Swivels, bearing straps, and similar hardware are warranted not to fail for five years of residential use and two years of commercial use.
To maintain the original finish, clean your Tru180° furniture with mild soap and water and soft brush. No sealing or painting is required, although we recommend covering furniture when not in use for long periods of time.
Using a power washer is not recommended as it can rough up the furniture’s surface.
